On the left hand side you can see a cut threw a standard Breslmair mouthpiece with its different sections.
The outer form is based on a typical Viennese mouthpiece dated around 1935 out of the workshop of "Anton Dehmal's Nachfolger", one of the leading Instrument maker in Vienna at that time.
Our favourite models as well are based on a very special Viennese mouthpiece from that period which was copied in 1968 by Karl Breslmair on request by the principal trumpet player Mr. Prof. Helmut Wobisch.

Cup size refers to the volume of the cup. As the size is subjective in the eye of a musician we just use three categories:
S - SHALLOW
M - MEDIUM
D - DEEP
Just a few of our backbores are really straight.
We prefer curved backbores for a full, warm sound.
